Dorset Country Inn win Taste of the West Gold for 2009

Following on from our success last year at The Morning Advertisers competition for Best Gastro Pub in the West Country, we are pleased to inform all our customers we have now been awarded GOLD in ‘The Taste of the West’ Awards 2009.

Having won GOLD in 2005 & 2006 we wanted to look at the way we supported suppliers, growers & producers in the ‘West Country’ and decided we would try to go one step further and use only Dorset based companies. This in turn led us to grow our highly successful and somewhat controversial vegetable patch at The Langton Arms. We have had a good yield of produce throughout the summer and our winter vegetables are now starting to appear on the menus and in our vegetable medleys that we serve with most of our main courses
