Tarrant Monkton, Dorset
Easter is over, summer is coming and we've been voted Best Pub in Dorset by The National Pub & Bar Awards, a great spring bonus. If you're looking for a wedding venue or planning a family celebration, we have a fabulous garden & a civil wedding licence so please get in touch to find out more. The village comes to life with flowers in bloom and walks aplenty in April, our gardens are big & safe for the kids and the skittles alley open for you to enjoy on drizzly days. Do come and visit soon.
We love seeing you all at the weekends but get booked up very fast. Please do call ahead (Thursday or earlier is ideal) on 01258 830225 so that you can have the table you want. If you still haven't planned your summer holidays, our gorgeous Turkish townhouse, Langton Cottage in Kalkan is available for July & August 2016. We also have our beautiful self-catering Taddlestones Cottage to rent, right here in the village.
Shooting season is a big thing in the Dorset countryside and our locally sourced Langton Arms menu is full of pheasant, partridge, version and duck during this time. If you're looking for somewhere to meet up for a bite to eat and a coffee before or after your day's shooting or beating, why not arrange it here with us? Alternatively, treat your family to lunch or dinner out in the countryside and enjoy a walk round our beautiful village of Tarrant Monkton to earn your sticky toffee pudding.
We have lots of events during the winter season, Christmas of course, right in the middle of everything. We can host parties, functions, winter weddings and family gatherings for you. We have a seasonal menu from early December, the skittle alley is open for added corporate fun on office get togethers and we have six cosy B&B rooms should you want to stay with us for the night.
